Johannesburg – Early this month, a new chapter in South Africa’s fashion scene was written as Soul Gallery opened its doors in Sandton.

The store’s opening was attended by the who’s who of local showbiz gathered for an exclusive evening to celebrate this pivotal moment in the history of high-end streetwear in South Africa.

Designed by acclaimed interior designer Tristan Du Plessis and store build up by Blackline Group, Soul Gallery promises an immersive experience that blends the worlds of fashion, art, and opulent living.

Among big name stars in attendance was Mzansi’s much-loved actor Zamani Mbatha, celebrated SA influencer Sarah Langa, musician and social media star Kamo WW, professional bodybuilder Sibusiso Kotelo, celebrity makeup artist Lungile Thabethe, DJ extraordinaire Black Coffee, and renowned SA rapper Cassper Nyovest.

Soul Gallery prides itself as an unparalleled sanctuary of high-end streetwear brands such as Hermès, Marc Jacobs, Jacquemus, Cactus Jack, Fear of God Essentials, Dior, Prada, Goyard, Hermès, Palm Angels, Nike, KAWS, Supreme, Micael Matthews, and many more.
A go-to-place for collectors and fashion aficionados alike, Soul Gallery speaks to the refined tastes of Johannesburg’s most discerning fashionista.

More than a retail space; it is a carefully curated fashion gallery that speaks to the refined tastes of Johannesburg’s most discerning fashionista. “Our goal with Soul Gallery was to create a space that not only showcases fashion but celebrates it as an art form,” said Weinberg, who at just 21 is not only rewriting the rules of fashion, but leaving an indelible mark in the luxury fashion scene, but ensure the notoriously long hunt for sought-after luxury fashion items such as the Hermès Kelly or Birkin bag – and other top notch brands, be it Bottega Veneta, Brioni, Louis Vuitton or Stefano Ricci – gets less daunting for style-savvy South African folks and the ultra-wealthy alike.

“I’m thrilled to introduce this unparalleled concept to Johannesburg, bringing some of the most coveted global brands and styles directly to our fashion-forward community.”

Soul Gallery’s grand opening was an elegant affair, where media, fashion insiders, and celebrities alike were immersed in the brand’s vision of elevated, redefined living.

SA rapper Cassper Nyovest was among big name stars in attendance.

Guests enjoyed an atmosphere of sophistication that reflected the essence of Soul Gallery, a go-to-place for collectors and fashion aficionados alike.
