South Africa joins LIV Golf’s global expansion through new Rolex partnership

Elevated hospitality, elite player access and international markets unite golf tradition with modern innovation.

JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA – LIV Golf has announced Rolex as an Official Partner, marking a significant alignment between one of sport’s most respected luxury brands and golf’s most globally ambitious league.

The partnership will centre on delivering an exclusive and elevated hospitality programme for Rolex guests, expanding the Swiss watchmaker’s presence into international territories while offering premium access to elite players and experiences across LIV Golf’s worldwide calendar.

“Rolex is synonymous with excellence in golf, defined by precision, performance and a truly global perspective,” said LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil. “This partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing golf at every level—from amateur development to the highest stages of professional competition. Rolex’s long-standing association with the world’s premier athletes and events aligns seamlessly with LIV Golf’s international roster of talent.”

Arnaud Boetsch, Rolex Director of Communication and Image, added: “For nearly six decades, Rolex has been deeply engaged with the world of golf. This partnership with LIV Golf expands our presence to new locations across the globe, offering guests unique experiences, elevated hospitality and special moments with some of the sport’s best players.”

A global calendar, with South Africa in the spotlight

Rolex’s presence within LIV Golf will be anchored in premium hospitality across new and emerging markets, including Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico—and notably South Africa, which will host its first-ever Liv Golf South Africa event from March 19–22, 2026.

The 2026 season features 14 events across 10 countries and five continents, beginning in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, underscoring LIV Golf’s positioning as the first truly global league in the sport.

South Africa’s inclusion reflects growing international confidence in the region’s sports and luxury economy, building on momentum highlighted in Majesticks GC locking in Horsfield ahead of LIV Golf South Africa and broader market insights from the 7th State of Africa’s Luxury Market Report.

Elite talent, enduring legacy

Several Rolex Testimonees already compete across LIV Golf teams, including captains Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, Phil Mickelson, Joaquin Niemann and Martin Kaymer, reinforcing Rolex’s enduring commitment to performance at the highest level of the game.

The partnership further complements Rolex’s global sports portfolio, which spans golf, tennis, motor sport, yachting and equestrianism—celebrating human achievement defined by discipline, determination and excellence.

As LIV Golf continues to redefine the modern sporting experience through culture, entertainment and innovation, its alliance with Rolex signals a powerful convergence of heritage, precision and global ambition—setting a new benchmark for luxury engagement in world sport.
