A SEASONAL collection dating back to 2009, Levi’s Made & Crafted collection is the latest expression of the brand’s multi-layered appeal. First up is the apparel’s timeless appeal and secondly the promise of quality, with the oldest pairs of Levi’s denims purported to be of 1879 and 1917. The latter reportedly belonged to Arizona miner, Homer Campbell, and were reproduced by Levi’s in 2003 in a limited edition of 501 pairs and sold for $501 each.
Available at Levi’s store countrywide, the collection prides itself on balancing history with future-focused style. “Craftsmanship is in our DNA; we use artful construction techniques to make each garment, and we source our fabrics from the best mills around the world. With a design ethos rooted in our iconic denim legacy, we’re constantly reimagining classic Levi’s® style in a progressive way,” the company said in a statement.
Seeking inspiration from the Russian rodeo cowboy heritage, the line combines the beauty and opulence of the Russian architecture and clothing with American West heritage. And the result – as Levi’s explains – is a lineup full of intricate embroidery, fringe detailing, and ewe-inspiring old West-style patterns. Design-conscious fashionistas, who are particularly into the Soviet-era styling, add to that the 1990s color-blocking, will no doubt find the collection irresistible.
Stylishly fringe
This bleached-edge denim fringe stylishly matched with cowboy boot and your favourite pair of boyfriend jeans will sure turn you into a street goddess. Not so much a cowgirl? The oversized fringe jacket can also be super-flattering over a knee-length dress and your favourite pair of stilettos.

Western pieces like the trucker jacket with playful stitch work and contrast color accents won over a form fitting pair of jeans is perfect for a night out on the town for the gents. Perfect for dressing up or down, the trucker has been a classic wardrobe staple for male and female fashionistas for decades for a good reason.
Color-blocking; back with a vengeance
Bringing back the 90s color-blocking, the collection is grounded in shades of white, black, and indigo with occasional pops of red to make you look playfully chic.
