After new dramatic changes that included the inclusion of moms and wives this year, Miss South Africa organisers have announced 30 hopefuls vying for the coveted 2023 title.

Johannesburg – Pageant organisers have named the top 30 contestants vying for the coveted title of Miss South Africa 2023.

They come from all of South Africa’s nine provinces with Gauteng leading the field with nine contestants (with two from Tshwane); the Western Cape has five; KwaZulu Natal has four; the Eastern Cape and North West each are represented by three contestants; the Northern Cape and Limpopo each have two while Mpumalanga and Free State have one.

“The 30 hopefuls are an impressive and diverse group and include B Com, science and psychology graduates as well as lawyers, teachers, architectural students, a film creative and a student pilot,” said a statement issued by Ninesquared Communications and Events on behalf of the Miss South Africa Organisation.
