Grammy winner Zakes Bantwini’s upcoming Abantu concert is shaping up well as he unveiled through his social media platforms, the local lineup for the October 28 scheduled showcase at DHL Stadium, Cape Town.
The Osama hitmaker will share the stage with the likes of GoldFish, Musa Keys, K.O, Nomcebo Zikode, Mi Casa, Youngsta CPT, Goodluck, Jeremy Loops, Major League DJz, Sun-El Musician, Boity, Ami Faku and more. He has also noted that he will be announcing an international guest act in September.
“When we first came up with the idea for Abantu, the idea was to do something special for the people,” Bantwini said in a statement, adding. “It took us some time to get it right but I think we finally have a well-rounded event property that everyone can look forward to.
The carefully-selected lineup will, he’s adamant, bring a unique flavour to a local concert that’s like never before seen. “This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait for everyone to see what we have in store for this historic show.”
