Disney hosted the world premiere of the highly anticipated ‘Mufasa: The Lion King‘ in Los Angeles on Monday, which saw the night’s biggest celebrity guests in all their glory. The mom daughter duo – Beyoncé and 12-year-old Blue Ivy – dazzled in metallic gold shoulder-baring evening gowns, and were later joined by super proud dad, Jay-Z, clad in a chocolate brown suit.
Bey’s mom Tina Knowles also joined the Carters, and she too looked ravishing in a holiday-inspired dark green shoulderless top with matching pants, black leather gloves and a big belt with gold buckle.
Blue Ivy is starring in the highly anticipated Disney’s live-action prequel to the 2019 blockbuster, The Lion King, where she lends her voice to the character of Kiara, the daughter of King Simba (voiced by Donald Glover) and Queen Nala (voiced by Beyoncé).

Following their much-talked about appearance, Beyoncé shared a heartfelt Instagram message to Blue Ivy, saying: “My gorgeous baby girl. This is your night. You worked hard and you did such a beautiful job as the voice of Kiara. Your family could not be prouder. Keep shining.”
The family’s rare public appearance comes a day after the rap mogul, real name Shawn Carter, was accused of drugging and raping a 13-year-old girl with troubled rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2000.
Jay-Z has strongly denied the bombshell accusations, per statement released on his company Roc Nation’s X account. Describing the accusations as “heinous”, he accused the unnamed plaintiff’s attorney, Tony Buzbee, of a “blackmail attempt” intended to “make me want to settle.”
