3. Gauteng Matric Results (GMR) app

  • The Gauteng Department of e-Government has launched the GMR app, offering students a private and convenient way to view their results on smartphones and digital devices.

4. SMS and USSD services

You can check your results on your phone using these steps:

  • SMS Method:
    • Text your exam number to 35658.
    • SMSes cost R1.50 per message.
  • USSD Method:
    • Dial *120*35658#, then follow the prompts.
    • USSD is charged at 50c per 20 seconds.
  • Only one cellphone number can be registered per exam number.
