Top South African DJ acquires stake in a French bubbly

Popular South African entertainer, DJ Zinhle, has acquired a stake in the acclaimed French sparkling wine brand, Boulevard Nectar Rosè, where she will assume the role of a CEO.

Taking to Twitter to share the news – with bottle of the French wine in hand – she said: “My team and I work really hard, words can’t describe this moment. Our hard work never went unnoticed. God really is the greatest.” 

The move sees DJ Zinhle as the first local artist to obtain shares in an acclaimed international beverage brand, this in addition to her many achievements.

DJ Zinhle making big moves

Born Ntombezinhle Jiyane, the award-winning DJ is also the brains behind several successful businesses, including a watch brand called Era by Zinhle, as well as design and decor company Jiyane Atelier.

Named 2020 Forbes Woman Africa Entertainer of the Year, the Soweto-born star took to Twitter to share the news, saying: “My team and I work really hard, words can’t describe this moment. Our hard work never went unnoticed. God really is the greatest.” 

Boulevard Rosé availability & pricing in South Africa 

A deep pink bubbly with sweet aromas of fresh strawberry, raspberry and cherry, Boulevard Rosé comes from South of France’s Languedoc area. 

The range was masterfully handcrafted from three grapes, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinor Meunie in the popular wine region of Pugibet vineyards, situated between the Alpes and the Pyrenees Mountains.

A product of JSC “OdessaVinProm“, established in 1857 by respected French winemaker Francois Nuevau, a bottle of cost around R200 at major retailers in South Africa.
