Known and loved for offering affordable blow-drys in a relaxed and funky environment, complete within-salon entertainment to give customers ‘that feeling’, Sorbet Drybar has partnered with the proudly South African professional haircare brand, Biosense, meaning customers can now add the sensational, on-trend colour to their crowning glory.
To celebrate the partnership, Sorbet Drybar recently held an exclusive brunch event at the Twincare International Offices In Sunninghill, Johannesburg.
Featuring interactive colour panel discussions, as well as before and after hair colour transformations, the high profile guests included the likes of Mrs South Africa (and Mrs World 2016) Candice Abrahams, beauty influencer Tshiamo Modisane and TV personality Gillian Seetso, who were all excited to learn the hottest hair trends, while sipping on Bombay Sapphire cocktails and indulging in the latest nail, hair and makeup treatments.
Candice Thurston, marketing executive for Sorbet Group and founder of Candi & Co, said the Biosense partnership was the result of their quest for the best in colour as they continue to find new ways to ensure their customers step in and strut out looking fabulous.
“Biosense’s use of natural ingredients to ensure efficacy and shiny, healthy hair – and the fact that its range has been specifically developed for South African weather and hair types is what sets it apart,” says Thurston about the company, which has established itself as a household name in the professional haircare industry for over 20 years.
Sorbet Drybar’s hair and colour professionals will offer Biosense’s range of retail and back bar, as well as technical colour products.
Boasting 13 stores, Sorbet Drybar is not only about hair but also offers nail and beauty services like gelish, tips, brows, lashes and make-up. “We are proud to offer woman a variety of services all in one place making it convenient for today’s woman who have busy lifestyles but still want to look good from top to toe,” added Thurston.
