Dlamini, who captured the attention of local fans when he played Uzalo’s resident bad boy Mastermind, stepped back from acting to focus on being a businessman and setting up his own sanitation company, is looking forward to returning to the small screen which he’s been running for seven years. Now that his company is stable and my team knows what to do, Dlamini has decided to fully come back to acting, which he says it’s his first love.
In the Royalty Soapie Awards 2021 multi-awarding winning drama series (DiepCity), Dlamini will step into the shoes of Bafana, a Fourways Cheeseboy that grew up in Diepsloot in his early years. Bafana moved to Fourways when his father, who is a successful businessman, moved the family to the suburbs.
He enjoys his suburban comforts and still enjoys life in the hood. He meets Nox and the two hit it off immediately, a saucy rendezvous ensues between the two and they end up between the sheets together.
Will there be some entanglements, feuds or even marriage? Tune in to ‘DiepCity‘ on Mzansi Magic DStv Channel 161, 8.30pm, Monday-Friday.
