Aweh, Sawubona! Audi South Africa welcomes new Head of Aftersales

Ashley Reddy joins Audi South Africa's management team in new role as Head of Aftersales and Dealer Network Management following distinguished stints in various roles at some of the country’s leading automotive brands.

Audi South Africa has just announced the appointment of Ashley Reddy as the new Head of Aftersales and Dealer Network Management.

With an illustrious background spanning laudable 15 years in parts sales, pricing strategies, customer service, warranty management and business process improvement, Ms Reddy brings a wealth of automotive industry knowledge and expertise to the role.

Her leadership skills have been honed through years of involvement in strategy implementation, forecasting, cashflow management and project execution.

She began her career as an assistant accountant at BMW before transitioning into sales at Hyundai. Most recently, she served as the GM for Aftersales at Mercedes-Benz Vans, where she led significant initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.

As per Deloitte’s 2020 study, about 90% of women in the automotive sector feel under-represented in leadership positions, hence the growing call for more promotion opportunities for women at a senior level. As such, Ashley Reddy’s appointment as Head of Aftersales and Dealer Network Management at Audi SA will be greatly welcomed as a positive sign that change is afoot in the local auto industry. Commenting on her new role, Reddy said she’s looking forward to working with Audi SA and thriving the business to greater heights. “It’s a brand that resonates with my personal mantra of continuous improvement,” she said.

A staunch supporter of women’s emancipation and gender equality, Reddy is passionate about driving a positive change for young professionals in the auto industry where women are underrepresented. She dedicates her time to mentoring and empowering individuals, finding it both fulfilling and rewarding.
