Johannesburg, South Africa – What was meant to be one of the most exciting R&B live experiences of 2025 has ended in disappointment, as the long-awaited Keyshia Cole – Live in South Africa tour has officially been cancelled.
After months of anticipation—and two prior delays—the concert’s Johannesburg-based organisers have confirmed they will no longer entertain further rescheduling requests from the artist’s team.
The tour, originally scheduled for April 2024 and later moved due to the LA fire tragedy earlier this year, was set to take place next week with the following dates and venues:
Saturday, April 26, 2025 – Johannesburg, Big Top Arena, Carnival City
Sunday, April 27, 2025 – Pretoria, SunBet Arena at Times Square
Monday, April 28, 2025 – Cape Town, Grand Arena, GrandWest
The foyr-time Grammy nominated songstress even reassured fans with a video announcement on social media that the show was finally happening. But hopes were dashed when another postponement request was made this week, allegedly to fit the show into her upcoming global tour later this year.

Third time not the charm
Faced with the third delay, concert organiser, Glen21 Entertainment, made the call to pull the plug.
“We are incredibly disappointed to let fans down once again,” said the event organising team this morning (Monday, April 21). “South African fans have shown immense excitement and loyalty, and we were truly looking forward to bringing Keyshia Cole to our shores.
“Unfortunately, under the current circumstances with a request with yet another postponement, we are unable to continue pursuing a new tour date yet again.”
Ticket holders will receive communication directly from the official ticketing platform, with refund procedures underway. Alternatively, enquiries can be directed to info@ticketpro.co.za.
