How Lotto works
Players choose six numbers from 1 to 52 for Lotto, with the pool reduced from 58 numbers after Sizekhaya took over the licence on June 1, 2026. Players can select their numbers manually or use a Quick Pick.
The odds of matching all six Lotto numbers are one in 20 million. That is twice as favourable as the previous one-in-40-million odds under Ithuba.
Adding the Plus 1 board puts seven numbers into play and improves the odds of winning a prize to one in 2.9 million.
