The wait is finally over for Samsung Galaxy superfans; as of this week, South Africans can now purchase the much awaited S10 trio in various outlets nationwide. To mark the big moment, Samsung South Africa is giving customers eager to experience its amazing features the opportunity to do so in the purpose-built Samsung studios at selected malls in Johannesburg (Mall of Africa and Sandton City), Cape Town’s Canal Walk and Umhlanga’s Gateway all the way to March 25.
This will ensure customers not only touch and feel the features that make the Galaxy S10 a truly unrivalled innovation. They will also get the chance to interact with some of SA’s most loved entertainment personalities, brand ambassadors and singer Cassper Nyovest, DJ Tira, DJ Fresh and Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp.
The premium smartphones – the S10+, S10 and S10e – comes with unique set of features. These include the ultrasonic fingerprint security, wireless power-share, a long lasting battery, the triple camera with ultra-wide lens and hooray, the industry’s first High Dynamic Range (HDR) LED cinema sceen.
Best deals so far
With prices starting from R15 000 for the S10e 128GB, R18 000 for the S10, and R20 000 for the S10+ from major networks (including MTN, Cell C, Telkom), Vodacom is offering a 10GB data once off for free to contract customers. The 24-month contract deals start from R699 for the S10e, while the S10 and S10+ fetch R799 and R899 per month respectively, which seems to be the going rate for all the major networks.
Through our little digging though, we found out that tech savvy South Africans could spend up to R8 000 less than the current market price. The cheapest offer so offer was with Amazon, with prices as little as $ 893.95 (R12.908), excluding $157.31 (R2 271,54) shipping and import fees. This totals to R15 180.54, which amounts to R5 000 average total saving, with further price drops expected in the next weeks.
The next unbeatable S10 deal was with walmart.com, which had it going for $899.99, although currently temporarily out of stock. With certain models already sold out in the US/UK on Samsung online stores, it’s been so far predicted that Samsung will sell 30% to 40% more units – 40 to 45 million units in 2019 – than initially believed, according to top analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo.
Samsung Exclusive Offer
Samsung Mobile SA is offering customers the New Galaxy Buds and a Samsung original accessory voucher valued at R3 500 with every purchase of the S10. The offer is valid until March 17.
