How to play and claim Daily Lotto prizes in South Africa
Daily Lotto costs R3 per board. Players select five numbers from 1 to 36 or use Quick Pick.
Draws take place daily at 9pm, with ticket sales closing at 8.30pm.
Unlike the main Lotto and PowerBall, Daily Lotto jackpots do not roll over. If nobody matches all five numbers, the top prize pool rolls down to the next-highest division with winners.
Winners have a strict 365-day window from the draw date to claim their prize.
After that deadline, unclaimed winnings are forfeited.
Prizes up to R2,000 can be collected from authorised retailers; larger amounts require the appropriate authorised payment channel or a National Lottery regional office.
Players must be 18 or older. Play responsibly.
