Changes under Sizekhaya: Since the new operator took over in June 2026, prices for some games have changed.
Most notably, Sizekhaya Holdings doubled National Lottery prices, raising standard PowerBall from R5 to R10 and the add-on game (PowerBall Xtra) from R2.50 to R5, making a full line R15 instead of Ithuba’s R7.50.
Despite this 100% cost increase, the underlying nine-division prize tiers, winning odds, and fixed payouts remain exactly the same under both operators.
