Bradley Cooper’s stimulating take on drugs and fame resonates well with South Africa

Ster-Kinekor’s commercial top 10 from October 29 – November 4 sees A Star is Born leading at first place, as Cooper continues to receive raving reviews for his perfomance

Its been a little over three weeks since South Africans welcomed with open arms Bradley Cooper’s directorial debut, A Star Is Born and if the numbers are anything to go by, the excitement is nowhere near waning as it occupies the #1 spot of Ster-Kinekor’s Commercial top 10; once again earning reviews for Cooper’s fresh handling of the emotionally sensitive subject matter – the connection between fame and substance abuse – in this must-see fourth installment. It is followed closely by Marvel Comics’ action thriller “Venom” at number two, while Tyler Perry’s Nobody’s Fool takes the third position.
