Sho Madjozi, Mafikizolo, Holly Rey, DJ Ganyani to headline third Jozi Tese Fest

Plans for Jozi's fastest growing lifestyle festival, Jozi Tese Festival 2019, are moving full steam ahead with the announcement of a brand new date and venue.

Plans for the 3rd annual edition of Jozi’s fastest growing lifestyle festival, Jozi Tese Festival, are moving full steam ahead with the announcement of a brand new date and venue.

Presented in partnership with BET, the bustling outdoor lifestyle festival celebrating Johannesburg in all its glory will be held at the multi-purpose Ruimsig Stadium in Roodepoort, south of Johannesburg, on Saturday November 30, 2019.

House music sensation Holy Rey is on the bill

Some of South Africa’s top musicians, Sho Madjozi, Mafikizolo, Holy Rey, DJs Ganyani and Ralph Gum are booked to perform. So will up-rising neo-soul musician Simmy, Swazi-born songbird Zamo Dlamini and East-Rand based Afro-fusion band Boitumelo & Friends.


“2019 is really an important year for us as we continue to work hard not only when it comes to developing and growing the Jozi Tese’s broad offering. This year’s top class acts is an indication of our commitment to bringing music lovers and guests nothing but the best that South Africa and the rest of the continent has to offer,” festival director Tshepo Riba said.

The festival will feature tons of activities ranging from live music to local artisan food market, themed bars, hot air balloon rides and a variety of exhibitors from the hotel industry, automotive and property sectors as well as an exciting selection of leading fashion and beauty brands. 

Tickets availability and pricing

Tickets, ranging from R150 (children) to R250 (general adults), are available at Webtickets or selected Pick ‘n Pay outlets.

VIP and VVIP tickets are priced at R1500 and R2000 per person respectively.
