Flight Centre’s annual Travel Expo goes national

For the first time ever, travel seekers across the country will no longer be required to travel to as far as Johannesburg to get access to Flight Centre Group's annual Travel Expo.

Unlike previous years when the Travel Expo was held exclusively at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg, Flight Centre Travel Group’s 10th annual Travel Expo is now accessible across the country, with deals available at all of its 121 stores natiowide.

Whether in Durban, Cape Town, Mahikeng or Bloemfontein, travel seekers will now be able to participate in Travel Expo’s exclusive deals and book their next trip simply by visiting any of Flight Centre’s or Cruiseabout’s stores nationwide.

The move, says Flight Centre’s Andrew Stark, was prompted by requests from customers to make deals more accessible to all South Africans and not just those living in Johannesburg.

“We’ve inspired a new Travel Expo concept to make it easier for them to benefit from over 500 unbeatable deals in-store or book flights online.”

Stark added: “We’ve had a number of enquiries regarding tickets for the Travel Expo and we’d like to reiterate that the Expo will not be taking place at one venue only, as at the Ticketpro Dome in previous years.”

This means there is no admission fee or the need to book tickets. Whether planning a beach vacation or your next Mediterranean cruise, travel seekers need to simply walk into the nearest store on the Expo weekend to enquire about exclusive deals on offer.

This year’s event will run for three days, from 28 February 28 to March 1, 2020.

Experts from the likes of Beachcomber, On The Go Tours, Club Med, MSC, Top Deck, Trafalgar, Emirates, Air Mauritius, Air France, KLM, Kulula, Mango and Qantas, among many others will be on site to offer travel deals and advice.
