The announcement confirming additional show for Tamia’s South African three-city tour at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria for Sunday, July 9 come as shockingly good news for those who weren’t able to purchase tickets for Saturday (July 8), which completely sold out early this week.
Local promoters G21 Live and Vertex Events today confirmed that Tamia’s diehard Gauteng fans have another shot at being mesmerised by the American 90s megastar for the second night.
Set to kick off in Cape Town at the Grand Arena, GrandWest Tuesday, July 5, followed by the Durban ICC Saturdays, July 7, and then Pretoria, the three-city tour will now conclude a day later in the capital city.
“Due to a huge public outcry following our sold out announcement on social media yesterday (Wednesday), we decided, if possible, to extend the tour in Gauteng,” stated Vertex Entertainment’s Thato Segaole, adding: “The venue was available and post discussions with Tamia and her management team late last night, her availability for an extra show was confirmed.”
Returning to South Africa for the fourth time in a decade, the six-time Grammy Award nominee, born Tamia Hill, is said to excitement to extend her stay slightly longer in Mzansi. “It’s official, the extra show is confirmed,” Segaole added.
