How to play Daily Lotto and PowerBall under Sizekhaya
Daily Lotto costs R3 per line. Players select five numbers from 1 to 36, with draws every evening at 9pm.
Its jackpot must be won or cascaded to lower prize divisions, giving it better jackpot odds than PowerBall.
PowerBall requires five numbers from 1 to 50 and one PowerBall number from 1 to 16. It costs R10 per line, with Xtra available for an additional R5.
Both games are drawn on Tuesdays and Fridays at 9pm. Ticket sales close at 8.30pm (or 8.25pm on banking apps).
Following Sizekhaya Holdings’ takeover in June 2026, PowerBall Plus was replaced by PowerBall Xtra.
The price of a standard PowerBall line increased from R5 to R10, while the add-on rose from R2.50 to R5.
