South Africa’s midweek Lotto results for Wednesday, August 19, are in, with no jackpot winner across Lotto, Lotto Plus 1 or Lotto 5 Max.
The three games now carry combined jackpots of more than R18 million for the next draw. The main Lotto jackpot accounts for most of that total, after rolling over for the eighth consecutive time.

Lotto winning numbers for August 19
The Lotto winning numbers were:
10, 19, 21, 40, 50, 51 — Bonus 7
No player matched all six numbers, sending the Lotto jackpot into its eighth rollover. The jackpot now stands at an estimated R13,680,828.12.
Two players matched five numbers plus the bonus ball and each won R187,112.50. Another 17 players matched five numbers, collecting R36,688.70 each.
Total sales for the draw reached R9,326,580.

Lotto Plus 1 winning numbers
The Lotto Plus 1 winning numbers were:
2, 22, 28, 35, 37, 48 — Bonus 23
Lotto Plus 1 also produced no jackpot winner. The prize now rolls over for the third consecutive draw, reaching an estimated R1,524,884.40.
Sixteen players matched five numbers and each took home R39,374.50.
Lotto 5 Max winning numbers
The Lotto 5 Max winning numbers were:
5, 24, 26, 27, 43, 45 — Bonus 23
There was no jackpot winner in Lotto 5 Max either. Its rollover now stands at an estimated R3,167,220.46.
Seventeen players matched five numbers, with each winner receiving R33,579.50.
All three draws used the Mpendulo machine, with the next Lotto, Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto 5 Max draw scheduled for Saturday, August 22.

How to play Lotto, Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto 5 Max
Lotto, Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto 5 Max draws take place every Wednesday and Saturday at 21:00, with the draws broadcast on e.tv and SABC 2.
To play Lotto, select six numbers from 1 to 52, or use Quick Pick for a random selection. Matching all six numbers wins the jackpot, with odds of 1 in 20,358,520.
A Lotto board costs R5, while Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto 5 Max each cost an additional R2.50 per board. Both use the same numbers selected for the main Lotto draw.
Players can buy tickets from authorised retailers, through the National Lottery website and app, participating banks or by dialling 1207529#.
Players must be 18 or older to enter. Winnings are paid tax-free, while winners receiving R50,000 or more can access free trauma counselling and financial advice.
