Scorpion Kings Live unveils massive FNB Stadium lineup
Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa have revealed the full lineup for Scorpion Kings Live at FNB Stadium, setting up what could become one of South Africa’s biggest live music events of 2026.
The 19 September 2026 show brings together major names from amapiano, Afro-soul, hip-hop, house and contemporary African music, with the Scorpion Kings leading a stadium-sized celebration of South African sound.
More than 70,000 fans are expected to fill the Calabash, with the event billed under the theme “A Family Affair”. Fans can arrive from 12 noon, with the pre-show building towards the main event later in the afternoon.
The announcement comes after early badge ticket sales sold out within hours in May, triggering a rush among Soweto fans and underscoring demand for the FNB Stadium show.
The first ticket release saw saw fans scramble for seats as the limited badges disappeared within hours.

From the soulful sounds of Ami Faku, Msaki, Nobuhle, Nokwazi, Nkosazana Daughter and Mlindo The Vocalist to the amapiano energy of Daliwonga, Young Stunna, Focalistic, Kamo Mphela, Toss, Tman Xpress, LeeMckrazy and MaWhoo, the bill reaches well beyond a single sound or generation.
The lineup also features genre-crossing acts such as Blxckie and Nasty C, while veteran performer Ringo Madlingozi adds decades of musical influence to the stadium stage.
From marathon DJ sets to a multi-genre stadium experience
Billed under the theme “A Family Affair”, the 2026 edition follows the duo’s 50,000-capacity 2025 show at Loftus Versfeld, scaling up to an expected 70,000 to 80,000 fans at FNB Stadium. The 2025 edition marked another major step in the growth of the Scorpion Kings brand.
The move also represents a major evolution of the Scorpion Kings’ signature marathon DJ format. Rather than centring the experience almost entirely on Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa behind the decks for hours, the 2026 production expands into a multi-genre live music experience, bringing amapiano together with Afro-soul, hip-hop, house and contemporary African sounds.
The shift is significant given the duo’s reputation for extended back-to-back performances.
Their iconic marathon DJ sets have become part of the Scorpion Kings’ identity and helped establish the pair as one of amapiano’s defining live acts.
The previous edition also featured a wide range of established and emerging talent, including Sjava, DBN Gogo and Young Stunna.
DBN Gogo, in particular, has become closely associated with South Africa’s evolving DJ culture, having made history with her 24-hour set.
The 2026 production now takes that foundation and expands it into a much broader celebration of South African music and culture.
Scorpion Kings Live partners add to the FNB Stadium experience
The event’s scale extends beyond the music, with a strong group of commercial and broadcast partners joining the FNB Stadium experience.
SABC1 is the official broadcast partner, while GalxBoy handles official merchandise distribution. Gautrain will serve as the official transport partner for fans travelling to and from the stadium.
Sprite takes on refreshments, while Castle Lite is the official beer partner.
McCafé and RocoMamas will also join as activation partners, bringing their brand experiences into the fan zones.
Scorpion Kings Live tickets: limited access still available
Despite the earlier sell-out, fans still have an opportunity to attend Scorpion Kings Live 2026.
Limited tickets remain available, with prices ranging from as little as R220 to R1,500 for the top-tier options, depending on the ticket category. Fans can check the latest availability and purchase tickets through the official Webtickets listing.
The remaining availability follows the initial badge-ticket rush, which saw early inventory disappear within hours.
Fans can also make use of official Park & Ride services, designed to provide secure parking and return shuttle transport to FNB Stadium on event day.
