Deep personal conversations with Michelle Obama you don’t want to miss

Spotify and the Obama's Higher Ground Productions announced 'The Michelle Obama Podcast' debuting exclusively on the nearly 300 million subscriber strong streamer on July 29. The podcasts promise no less than deep personal conversations as we navigate our way through the global COVID-19 crisis.

Hosted by the former America’s First Lady, the series will bring listeners some of her most candid and personal conversations with her loved ones, allowing them to be vulnerable, open up, and to focus on what matters most.

A broad array of subjects focusing on the different relationships that shaped and “make us who we are today,” will be explored.

Whether it’s the joy or challenges of being a parent or a spouse, the mentors or friends we lean on when the going gets tough and better still, the more personal conversations with our ourselves, health, and bodies, she will touch on those important human relational issues we deal with everyday.

“For the first season I will be talking to some of the people most dear to me: my mom, my brother, my friends, colleagues and many others,” she explained in this Instagram post.

A host of high caliber guests that have confirmed their availability for the special sit down include Marian and Craig Robinson, Conan O’Brien, Valerie Jarett, Michele Norris and Dr. Sharon Malone MD.

‘The Michelle Obama Podcast’ is the first release from the exclusive partnership between Spotify and Higher Ground Productions, an independent label formed by the former first couple, Barack and Michelle Obama.

Its mandate is to produce powerful stories that entertain, inform and inspire, while lifting up new, diverse voices.
