DJ Nkanyezi to perform at Ultra SA with Black Coffee and Steve Aoki

Budweiser’s King of Decks winner, DJ Nkanyezi, is set to perform at Ultra SA’s main stage in Johannesburg on Saturday (February 29) alongside DJ Black Coffee (SA), DJ Snake (France) and Steve Aoki (US).

The rising star (born Nkanyezi Kubheka), now a Joburg-resident house DJ was anounced as the winner of King of Decks, SA’S biggest online DJ search on Saturday.

This follows a fierce battle in a show’s finale, along with two other finalists – DJs  Candii and Zelco – on YFM’s “The Best Drive” show on Saturday (February 21) with a popular listeners’ vote deciding the winner.

As part of his prize, Nkanyezi will get to perform at Ultra SA’s main stage, in Johannesburg on Saturday, February 29, alongside some of the world’s finest DJs; Black Coffee (South Africa), DJ Snake (France), Steve Aoki (US) and Dutch mixer and producer, Afrojack.

“Winning the King of Decks is a real dream come true. To have the chance to show what I’m made of at the biggest music festival in Africa, on the same stage as so many DJ legends, is a once in a lifetime opportunity,” he said.
