Rapper A-Reece announces Reece Effect Tour Pretoria

South Africa's much-loved rapper A-Reece is taking his biggest instalment yet of the popular Reece Effect to the Pretoria Botanical Gardens later in March.

Hot on the heels of the hugely successful 2023 that saw ‘The Boy Doing Things’ travel to New York; release highly anticipated album, ‘P2: The Big Hearted Bad Guy‘; and successful shows in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg with the Reece-Effect music series, A-Reece has just announced dates for his upcoming show to eager Pretoria fans who have been patiently waiting for their turn.

Set for Saturday, March 30 (2024) at the Botanical Gardens, the Rubberband Gang signed recording artist won’t be taking to the stage solo; he’s tagging along some of the country’s leading and upcoming artists, top among them Moozlie, Sjava, Lady Du, Jay Jody, Leodaleo, Kaydence, ROIII, 25k, Loatinoverpounds, NotBenjamin, Venom and Uncle Vinny – with more still to be announced.

Excited to finally host the show to back home, here what the Pretoria-born hip-hop star had to this to say: “We have crazy surprises planned and this is my way of thanking all my Slimes who continue to rock with me! The tour got insane love in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg, and I have no doubt that our upcoming Pretoria Show is going go up even harder!”

The ‘Everybody Hates Reece‘ singer also confirmed future plans for 2024, saying: “We’re kicking off 2024 in Pretoria but will definitely be showing up in new cities across the country and beyond the border soon!’

Tickets for the show are available for purchase starting at R180 each from Webtickets, be sure to get yours today.
