Making history! South African actress Pearl Thusi joins a roster of globally recognised MAC brand ambassadors

Congratulations are in order for South African actress Pearl Thusi, who unveiled her history-making collaboration with global beauty brand MAC Cosmetics this week.

As the first South African actor to collaborate with the globally recognised cosmetic brand, the deal will see her not only cement her reputation as a beauty buff, but join a roster of globally recognised MAC beauty brand ambassadors including Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Nikki Minaj, Rihanna and Caitlyn Jenner.

In an Instagram post ahead of the big reveal on Thursday, the award-winning actress shared: “When a woman is ready to take over the world, she has a bold and defined idea of where she sees herself. BOLD. BRAVE. PURPOSEFUL.”

Pearl Thusi has been named as MAC new ambassador

Launching exclusively in South Africa on February 28, the same day as her new show, Queen Sono, the MACXPearl collection consists of two looks; the Me Kit and the Power Kit.

Each consists a range of beauty products such as mascara, a face brush, lipstick, lip liner, lip gloss, and lashes.
