The Savanna Comics’ Choice Comedy Awards seeks to celebrate this and more, while casting the spotlight on SA’s biggest and funniest comedians, as well as comedy stars of tomorrow.
Last week, South Africa’s popular comedy brand announced a list of nominees that continue to shape our ever evolving comedy landscape, with new media creating more ways for comedians to reach the masses, meeting different kinds of audiences wherever they are – be it in comedy clubs and cafes, or online.
What with the rise of equally competitive content creators, who are making sure they stand out from the rest by coming up with clmpelling creative content; and if that means leaning more towards humour, so be it.
