South Africa has new Lotto millionaires. The National Lottery drew Saturday’s numbers at 9pm, releasing the latest Lotto results for Lotto, Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Max 5.

A combined R17 million was up for grabs across the three games.

Lotto results and winning numbers: August 8, 2026

Lotto: 07, 10, 13, 18, 24, 42. Bonus: 30.
Lotto Plus 1: 02, 03, 13, 25, 30, 51. Bonus: 34.
Lotto Max 5: 04, 17, 39, 45, 46, 50. Bonus: 19.

Saturday’s jackpots stood at an estimated R9 million for Lotto, R6 million for Lotto Plus 1 and R2 million for Lotto Max 5.

Players who match all six main numbers share the jackpot equally. Matching three or more numbers also earns a prize.

If nobody wins a jackpot, the prize rolls over to Wednesday’s draw.

Interest in lottery play continues to grow on mobile devices. In case you missed it, a mystery Capitec app user won R65 million in the final Lotto draw of 2025.

That win helped fuel interest in mobile Lotto play, with Saturday’s draw again attracting players across the country.
