Introducing (pics): AMEN KIDZ, adventurous clothing line for the brave little ones

Parents have become increasingly experimental when it comes to shopping their child's look. And what better way to travel this intricate journey than with a brand that isn't only entering an entirely new territory, but is known for breaking conversations when it comes to style - this as they launch a daring new capsule collection perfect for the fearless little ones.

They aren’t called ‘Material Masters’ by the South African media for nothing. The label which was created by fashion designer duo Abiah Mahlase and Brad Muttitt in 2012, has been pushing the boundaries in men and woman’s fashion for almost a decade now.

Today (Tuesday, March 16), one of South Africa’s venturesome fashion labels, known as AMEN, unveiled a surprising new chapter of their journey with the launch of AMEN KIDZ, their latest fiery capsule collection which once again spotlight their obsession with daring bright colours and bold patterns.

The collection comes off the back of their much talked-about collaboration with community initiative, the Braveheart Bears – which helped raise funds for abused children late last year – and notably after several discussions with renowned South African event organiser, Penny Stein, who suggested they partner and create a kids range.

AMEN KIDZ, designed for the bold and fearless

True to the AMEN signature style, AMEN KIDZ is a fashion brand designed for the bold and fearless kids “who love fashion and believe that fashion should be fun and not only cool but super cool, ” explains Mahlase. Each item comes with a tracking number as limited quantities of each edition of style will be produced.

The collection includes the signature AMEN Knockout Puffer jacket, which can be paired with the Zip it Catsuit. New styles will be added regularly and more sizes will be available each season.

It is exclusively available online on Shopify from Friday (March 19) with prices ranging from R250 to R500.
